Question by Karl Mcguiness: What do people find attractive about fictional vampires?

I mean aren't vampires undead beings who feed on humans by draining the blood from them or taking their life energy? What's so attractive about that? I like when a woman gently bites me on the neck (never happens to me though) but not when blood is drawn and she starts drinking it.

I think they like the sexual agressiveness implied. Thirsty vampires would translate into horny humans. :p
