Question by jamaican☠kutie (lovn my italian): health sciences as a major and nursing? preferably ithaca college students but others welcome?

I applied to do healt sciences with pre-medicine. What is the career possibilities with health science b.s. or do nursing come under health sciences because i think i would be better off becoming a nurse first then going on to med school because that would be a great cost to my parents. Does ithaca offer nursing under their health sciences major?

You need to apply to a school of nursing (it may be under the general heading of health sciences--but it is the school of nursing), and the degree is a bachelors of science in nursing (BSRN). (not a health science BS). Look at the Ithaca web site to see what they offer. If they do not have a school of nursing, you can not get a BSRN and cannot be a RN.
