plea bargain benefits to individual, how does it violate the individuals rights?
Identify the merits of plea bargaining from a defendant's perspective and explain why a defendant's rights may not be violated.

It's not directly a violation, but it does offer incentive for an individual to plead guilty to a crime they may not have committed, for the sake of expedience in the judicial process- which is a constitutional right anyway.
For example, the Senator who plead guilty to lewd acts in a Men's room may or may not have beaten the case in court, but until it was publicized it was much less politically damaging for him to plead guilty than it would have been to stand trial.
