US senator: Obama to ease travel restrictions to Cuba, allow more money to be sent back

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - A senator's office says President Barack Obama plans to loosen Cuban travel policy to allow students and church groups to go to the communist country.

Despite higher gas prices, more people expected to travel

The North Platte Telegraph Travel costs are going up. As of Tuesday, gas prices in North Platte were up about 46 cents from a year ago. AAA's Daily Fuel Gauge Report showed that the average cost of regular unleaded was .08 per gallon, compared to .62 last year.
